Weekend Warrior....

I am now at least 1 cm dilated, and I have been having cramps and contractions since yesterday afternoon.

Green Bean is working on arriving, but he needs to hold off for another week.  Not because I am not ready to see him, but I still have SO much to get done!

I sold another item off my Etsy store!!!  Thankfully this one isn't as time consuming as painting the pig (which takes more than a week to complete due to paint drying times), but it has to be shipped no later than June 6th (my due date).  And of course I am out of the fabric, so I had to place an order for that, which will arrive in 3-10 days.  Ugh....

And I have two previous orders for the baby bundles (bib, booties, and no-scratch mitts) in addition to the Etsy order.

So, this weekend is going to be chock full of sewing and other accomplishments.   What I need to accomplish this weekend:

  • Go to Hancock Fabrics to see if they have NC Tar Heels fabric.  If so, Sew NC Tar Heels Baby Bundle
  • Sew NC State Baby Bundle
  • Sew Gamecock Baby Bundle
  • Sew Gamecock Bib
  • Sew 3-6 Pair of No-Scratch Mitts
  • Sew Meme's Birthday Blanket
  • Hang Valances in Nursery
  • Organize/Clean House
  • Finish Painting Green Bean's Piggy Bank
  • Clear Coat Piggy Banks and Picture Frame
  • Ship Etsy Piggy Bank
  • Get Oil Changed
  • Get Tires Rotated
  • Install Car Seat
  • Load Hospital Bags in Car
  • Set up Pack-n-Play
  • Mow Lawn
  • I'm sure I am forgetting stuff....

All of which needs to be finished before I have Green Bean.  And of course there are only 8 days left until the 25th, the day I want him to be born....

AHHH!!!

37 Week Bumpdate....

Due Date:  June 6, 2013, but I am still hoping Green Bean is born on May 25, 2013....  The OB has NOT scheduled me for an induction...yet.  I am hoping he will schedule one at next week's appointment.  I DID tell him that I was hoping for Green Bean to be born on the 25th, and he said he would "see what he could do"....

How Far Along:  37 weeks, 0 days.

Size of Baby:  Watermelon - 19 to 22 inches, 6.5 pounds

During the biophysical profile (BPP or growth scan), Green Bean weighed in at 6 pounds 11 ounces.  But I don't think the tech did the measurements properly, which you can read about here....

Weight Gain/Loss:  This week: -0.6  pounds,  Total: +15.7 pounds

According to the OB's office, I lost 3 pounds over the last two weeks.  Also according to my chart I have only gained 10 pounds this pregnancy.  The OB really doesn't want me to gain less than 10 pounds, and I guess that is 10 of his pounds....

Sleep:  Still really good.  I am still only getting up 2-3 times a night to pee.  I guess my bladder has regulated itself with Green Bean's added pressure....

Best Moment of the Week:  Seeing Green Bean again!!! Unfortunately it wasn't in 3D, but I still got to see his cute little profile....

Things I Miss:  Nothing at the moment....

Movement: Still just as active!  He is very cramped for space, but he still makes some "big" moves in there. He is going to be an active little bugger....

Food Cravings/Aversions:   STILL craving sweets!!!  I have given in on more than one occasion....

Gender:  Still a BOY!!!

Baby Name:  Still Charles "Braxton".

Symptoms:   Hip pain!  I had to miss work on Monday from my right hip hurting.  Then after standing all day yesterday my left hip was killing me.  It still hurts today, but I have another all-day training class I have to give today....

Moods and Emotions:  Excited!  Less than 3 weeks and I will see my little guy.  Though I do hope it will be 9 days....

Belly Button (In or Out):  Not gonna become an outie....

Looking Forward to:  An uneventful weekend.  I plan on lounging around the house as much as possible.  Though I do have a few chores and errands I have to do:  mow the lawn, clean house, get my vehicle serviced, and sewing....

Milestones:  Making it to 37 weeks!!!  FULL TERM!!!

Nursery:  Green Bean's letters are completed.  I have to paint the dots on the deer for his picture frame; and paint the deer, squirrels, birds, ears, a few shoots of grass, and his name on his piggy bank (hopefully tonight).  Then I need to get all the stuff out of his crib, set up the play pen, and move all the unnecessary items out of the nursery....

I will leave you with a 37 week bump photo:
